Well done to all club men playing with Tipp over the weekend

On saturday last we saw Richard Power & Martin Dunne line out with Tipperary Junior footballer, as they took on Kerry in the Munsters quarter final.  They were narrowly defeated on a scoreline  of 1-11 to 1-9.  We then saw Sean Carey Line out for Tipperary Intermediate who had better out coming defeating Limerick on a scoreline of 2-20 to 1-11

On a sunny Sunday in semple stadium, clubman Alan Campbell got his first championship start with Tipperary senior footballers, at wing back. Team mate Peter Acheson started and Centre forward. Both had a great games despite loosing out to Kerry on a scoreline of 0-16 to 0-10.
Congratulation to Tipp Senior Hurlers on a great win over Limerick in the Munster quarter final.

The sympathies of the club goes to Eileen Acheson & Kathleen McGrath and families on the recent death of their Mother.  May she rest in peace.

The Draw took place on Sunday 20th May, the Jackpot was not won, the
winners on the night were Donnie Hayes €50, Dick Looby, Karen Moore & Sharon Egan €20

We recently  hosted an U10 Go Games Camogie blitz. Cahir, Cashel and Fethard were welcome visitors and each team had three games. All games were officiated  in the capable hands of Caroline Quirke and Kate Delahunty. We were well represented by Orlaith Breen, Aoibhe Browne, Nicole Delaney, Ella Ryan, Tara Mc Grath, Alanna Dowling, Grace O'Dwyer, Mia Dowling, Shauna Mitten, Gráinne O'Donnell and Makayala O' Donnell.

At the U12 Camogie Academy/ Development squad, our club was represented by Áine Fitzgerald, Sarah Hickey, Amy Norris, Emer Ryan and Emma Tobin. It was held in Templederry and the girls had an early start on Sunday morning and gave a great account of themselves. We wish them well as these sessions continue into the summer.

Ladies Football.
Our under 14 team recorded a great win over Aherlow in the county semi Final last Friday evening. . Well done to the girls who had to dig deep to see off a very strong and committed Aherlow side in a great game of football.  We are now in the county final against Cahir this weekend. We wish the team and management all the best as they seek the" Double",having already won the Feile.     Well done to Jenny Everard who represented Powerstown National school,and by association our club, at the primary games in Semple Stadium last Sunday. Jenny kicked a great point for Tipperary's first score.Both the Camogie club and Ladies Football Club would like to wish all our girls the very best of luck in the forthcoming Junior and Leaving Certificate examinations.
