South Senior Football Championship Round 1
Thursday 17th March
Moyle Rovers V Fethard in Kilsheelan at 12-30pm

On Sunday afternoon last our U21 Footballers took on Ardfinnan in the
South Final.  As expected it was a closely contested final. Shane
Foley got us off to a great start with a goal, with points from Liam
Boland, David McGrath, Peter Acheson & Thomas Hill, we went in with
the lead at half time score Moyle Rovers 1-6 Ardfinnan 1-5.   With
outstanding performances in defence from David Mulcahy & Alan Campbell
and Peter Acheson playing the captain part throughout the game, we
managed to keep Ardfinnan from getting the goal they worked so hard to
get.  Points again from Peter Acheson, Thomas Hill, David McGrath &
Liam Boland left the Final score Moyle Rovers 1-11 Ardfinnan 1-8.
Well done to all the players and their mentors and best of luck in the
