Friday evening last saw two of our U12 team take part in the South
Final of the Go Games.  Division 1 team took on Cahir.  As expected
this was a tough game of football and despite our boys best efforts it
was just not their day.  Our Division team took on Clonmel Og.  We got
to know early in the game that this Clonmel Og sides were a very
strong side.  In the end the better team won on the day.  Well done to
both panel of boys, as south finalist they still participate in the
County finals in Semple stadium.  Best of luck to both team in the
county finals.

On a sunny Sunday afternoon, Our 16’s faced the South Football Final.
In very windy conditions. This didn’t deter our boys.  A quick ball
from the throw in, played straight into Danny Owens at full forward,
who laid it off to Craig Lonergan, GOAL.  Dara Ryan quickly added a
point.  Commercial then opened  their scoring with a goal. Danny Owens
have a great game at full forward added a point to rovers tally. Ian
McGrath added a third points. Commercial scored three unanswered
points before Tadgh Fitzgerald scored a excellent goal.  Commercials
added two more points while points from Stephen Quirke(2) & Ian
McGrath gave Rovers the lead at half time.  Half time score Moyle
Rovers 2-6 Commercials 1-5
Commercial began the second half scoring 4 unanswered points. Ian
McGrath scored Rovers first point of the half.  Our defence was under
immense pressure  with commercials scoring 2-1 before yet again Ian
McGrath score his second point of the half.  Commercials scored one
more point before the final whistle.  Final score Moyle Rovers 2-8
Commercials 3-11.  Well done to all the boys on the panel.
