Our U16 Footballers had their first game in the South “A” Championship
against Ardfinnan.  In a closely contested game the sides ended level
on a final score Moyle Rovers 1-3 Ardfinnan 0-6.

On Sunday afternoon last we held an open day for all our newcomers at

an enjoyable afternoon.  We would like to thanks all who helped to
make our open day the success it was, and to the schools  for their

U10 Indoor blitz final

The last night of the U10 indoor hurling league took place last friday
night.  It was a great success with the final
being won in dramatic fashion by cork with Mike McGrath scoring the
winning goal in extra time.   The McGrath Cup
was presented afterwards to the winning captain Ross Gavin and the
players enjoyed the refreshments provided.  Well
done to all the players who played on the night, to all who helped
especially Denis Casey & John O Sullivan and to the parents
for their support.   We're very luck to have such a fine indoor
facility in Monroe.

The club offers our best wishes to George Ryan, we hope your feeling
better soon.
