U14 win Feile peil county final

FIXTURE
Intermediate Hurling South Championship
Moyle Rovers V Grangemockler in Clonmel at 2pm

RESULTS

On Wednesday night last our Minor Footballers had a comprehesive win
over Mullinahone in the last round of the South Football Championship.
They now face Kilsheelan/Kilcash in the South Semi Final, still
awaiting on Fixture

Our senior Footballers had two victorious outing in the South
Championship over the weekend. They had comfortable wins over both
Kilsheelan & Ardfinnan over the weekend.

Our 14 footballers ended our bank holiday weekend on a high winning
the county final on the Feile na Peil on Monday last.  After defeating
Rockwell rovers in the semi final.  They went on to face drom&Inch in
the Final.  This was a highly entertaining game of football and
despite only a few point between the sides at half time, our boys
battled extremely hard in the second half winning on a scoreline of
Moyle Rovers 3-9 Drom&Inch 1-5.   Well done to all the boys and best
of luck in the All Ireland Feile Peil competition in Cork at the end
of June.




TRAINING TIMES
Our Under 8 have Football training Tuesday night 6.45-8pm, and hurling
training Friday night 6.45-8pm.  Both night training will be outdoor
weather permitting


CAMOGIIE
Under 16s. Our Under 16s played Holycross last  Monday week  in
Munroe. This was a very entertaining game of camogie. Under directions
from Olivia Shanahan and Mags Leahy the girls showed great commitment
and determination. Their courage was rewarded with a fine win in a
tight game . Zoe Farrell and Sarah Everard were injured during The
score was 2-2 to 1-1.Our final game is against Cahir. Best of luck
girls.Our Team on the night was Rebecca Lyons,Kate Delahunty,Rachael
O'Dwyer,Leanne Ryan,Daniella di Ruzza,Sarah Ryan,Siobhan Murchin,Betty
Barlow,Hazel Shanahan,Sarah Everard,Emily Corcoran,,Zoe Farrell, Marie
Quirke ,Carline Quirke,Niamh Mackey.Aoife Power,Shannon
Keating,Coutney Lonergan,Megan Shanahan ,Evrena Everard,Shania
Dowling.
Junior. Our Junior team travelled to Carrick to play Carrick swans
last Friday. Luck was n't on our side and we were beaten on a score
line of 2-4 to 0-7.Our girls gave a very spirited display against
Carrick. We had a very good and tough game of Camogie. We welcome back
 Joan O'Donnell and Kathleen O 'Dwyer, both who played very well.We
wish a speedy recovery to Niamh Lonergan who is out through injury.Our
remaining game is vs Cahir,fixed for next Monday at 12..00pm in
Munroe.
U.14. Best of luck to our under 14 team who play New Inn This Thursday
in Munroe.Manager Andrew Dowling and the team are "Rarin to go". Best
of luck girls and hopefully we will open the campaign with a win on
home ground


LADIES FOOTBALL

Under 14 Feile

Moyle Rovers girls took part in Feile 2011 in Cahir on Friday last
where they won their game against Cappawhite and lost their game
against Cahir who went on to win the final against Templemore.

Under 16 Championship

Moyle Rovers Under 16 girls won their first championship match against
Thurles  Sarsfields on Thursday evening last in Monroe. Their next
outing will be away to Cahir in two weeks time.


Training Times:

Under 12 - Saturday 11.15 and Wednesday 6.45.

Under 14 Wednesday 7.30 pm

Under 16 - Wednesday 7.30pm

Intermediate / Junior Wednesday 7.30pm &  Friday 6.45pm.
