Congratulation to Tipperary senior & Minor. Both winning munster titles in two great games of hurling

The under 16 combination team of  Moyle Rovers/St Mary's commenced their league campaign against Clonoulty last Friday evening in Clonmel Sportsfield. The team gave a committed and gutsy performance aagainst unbeaten Clonoulty who were playing their fourth game. Our team had lots of possession in the opening ten minutes but failed to convert the chances. Clonoulty came into the game and in contrast they took their chances very well. At Half time we trailed by 2-3 to 0-2. In the second half the tempo of game upped and our girls responded very well. Despite many good scoring opportunities created we did'nt convert on the scoreboard. The final score was 4-4 to 0-3. We can look with confidence to our remaining games and say well done to olivia and andy for the hard work they have put in.
Our team was Kate Delahunty,Lorraine Williams,Hazel Shanahan,Emily Corcoran,Danni di Ruzza,Sarah Ryan,Rosin mcGrath,Betty Barlow,Aoife Power,Sarah Everard (0-3),Zoe Farrell,Kate Barlow,Sorcha Griffen,Caroline Quirke,Derbhile Fitzgearld.

Both the camogie club and Ladies football club would like to congratulate Billl Maher ,winning Captain of the Tipperary Minor hurling team last Sunday .We will assume he was influenced by the wholehearted displays of his sisters Ciara,Yvonne, and Noelle who  have played Camogie and Ladies Football for our clubs over a number of years
