Sunday 15th May
South Intermediate Hurling Championship
Moyle Rovers V Fethard in Kilsheelan at 1-30pm

On the Bank holiday Monday, our U14 hurlers were defeated in the feile
na nGael county Semi final by Clonoulty.  Well done to the panel of
players and their mentors.

Our Intermediate Football Took on Ballyporeen in the second round of
the South Championship.  With Rovers gaining a lead at half time of
1-7 to 0-2.  They need every score in order to hold on to this lead
with Ballyporeen coming out battling in the second half.  Final score
Moyle Rovers 1-11 Ballyporeen 1-6.

On a windy Sunday evening our Senior travelled to Kilsheelan to take
on Commercials.  As always it was a closely contested game.  There
were little between the sides throughout the game with the half time
score showing Commercial having the advantage.  Moyle Rovers 0-3
Commercials 1-1.  Thankfully The final score was Moyle Rovers 0-6
Commercials 1-2.

to the girls.

Under 16 - The Under 16 team will have played Cahir in the 2nd round
of their championship by the time these notes appear. After a
comprehensive win over Thurles Sarsfields in the 1st round they will
be very confident of getting a further win against Cahir.

Our under 14 team played Carrick Swans last Thursday evening, in a had
to win game, to keep our championship chances alive. Our girls tried
as hard as they could all through the game. In the end they had to
give way to a stronger Carrick team who scored some good goals in the
first half to see them over the line. Well done girls on a very good
campaign and to manager Andrew Dowling.
Junior. Our Junior team played their last league game of the season
against Cahir Last Monday week. We had a very poor turn out of Players
on the day. Having conceded the game and with the aid of some Cahir
girls we played a very enjoyable 10 aside . Our participation in the
Championship is looking very Doubtful. Congratulations and well done
to Aoife Power and Megan Shanahan members of the  U/14 Tipperary
Ladies Football who won Munster Honours last Saturday against Cahir.
Our under 16s play Cahir Tuesday May 9th. Training every Friday
evening at 6.00pm. All
