FIXTURE
Sunday 6th March
U21”A”South Football Final
Moyle Rovers V Ardfinnan in Clonmel at 2pm.

RESULT
Our U21 took on Cahir in the U21”A” South Football Semi Final on
Saturday afternoon last.   With goals from Liam Carey, Peter Acheson &
Brian Smith.  Our men had a convincing win over the Cahir side on a
scoreline of Moyle Rovers 3-11 Cahir 2-3.  We now face Ardfinnan in
the South Final.

Our Seniors travel to temple more to take on JK Brackens in the third
round of the league on Sunday last.  Our Seniors continued the winning
ways  with another comfortable victory on a scoreline of  Moyle Rovers
0-14 JK Brackens 0-2.

Our Minors suffered an unfortunate defeats in their first two games of
the league.  They played Golden under light on Monday 21st  February
and Kilsheelan on Sunday last.  They lost by two point on both
occasion despite playing some great football in both games.



COUNTY SCENE

Our Tipperary Senior Footballers took on Westmeath on Sunday last.
Unfortunately their were defeated on a scoreline of Westmeath 2-13
Tipperary 2-9.

NATIONALIST AWARDS FOR 2011.

Congratulations to Sean Carey who received his Nationalist
Intermediate Hurler of the year award at the awards ceremony held in
Hotel Minella on Saturday night last.



TRAINING TIMES

U6: Training for Under 6’s take place on Saturday Mornings in From
10am to 11am in Monroe Sports complex. All newcomers are welcome.
U8: Training this  Friday 25th Feb 6-45pm to 7-45pm, all newcomers are welcome.
U10: Our Annual Indoor hurling league continues this Friday at 8pm.
All players should be there for 7-45pm


MONROE SPORTS CENTRE

On Friday night last the official opening and Blessing of the final
phase on the Monroe Sports Complex was held.  Michael Power officially
opened the Monroe Sports Complex and Fr Peter Ahearne blessed the
completed project.  An enjoyable night was had by all guests in
attendance on the night.  A big thanks to all who help prepare the
Complex for the opening and to all those who attended on the night to
mark this momentous occasion.


MEMBERSHIP

Membership is now due for all players and mentors.  Juvenile & Minor
€20, U21 & non players €40 Adults €50. Please pay membership as soon
as possible.

SYMPATHIES

Sympathies to Brian Condon & Family on the recent death of his grandfather.
Also to the Sheehan family on the death of Biddy Sheehan,
May they rest in peace.
