RESULTS

On Saturday last our U14 Hurlers faced Drom&Inch in the County Final. Despite the heavy rain shower during the morning, it was surprisingly fine for the match.

Drom&Inch got off to a much better start with 2 -2 before we got out opening point. Dara Ryan & David Roberts added two further points but Drom&Inch.

Drom&Inch opened the second half with another two goals. One can only admire the 'never say die attitude' this bunch of players. 2 goals from Danny Owens & 1 goal from Stephen Quirke.

Unfortunately there wasn't enough time for the boys and they were defeated on a scoreline of Drom&Inch 5-7 Moyle Rovers 3-3.

CONGRATULATIONS

On a historic day in Croke park, we were delighted and very proud that we had Philip Quirke & Cathal Quigley representing our club on the Minor Football team for the

All Ireland Football. Despite Philip not starting due to a last minute change to the team, He went on and half time and gave a game changing performance.

He score three spectatular points in the second. Well done to the boys and their team mates and their management team on winning the All Ireland football Final for the first time in over 70 years.
