Under 16. Well done to the Moyle Rovers/St Mary's Under 16 team who
played Cahir last Monday week in Duneske. This was the last game in
the league campaign. The girls played very well against a strong Cahir
team. Behind by a point at half time the girls eventually had to give
way to a stronger and more experienced Cahir team. Well done to Team
managers Olivia Shanahan and Andy Griffen who gave total commitment to
the Management of the team. They can be very proud of their
achievements.Team as follows; Rebecca Lyons,Kate Delahunty,Rachael
O'Dwyer, Leanne Ryan,Danni Di Ruzza (Captain), Sarah Ryan, Courtney
Lonergan,Hazel Shanahan,Betty Barlow,Sarah Everard,Emma Lacey,Laura
Grace,Zoe Farrell,Caroline Quirke,Riosin McGrath,Aoife Power,Megan
Shanahan,Deidre ni Caisleann,Shannon Keating,Evrena Everard.
Powerstown NS played two Camogie Blitzs last week.In the under 11
Blitz they played three games winning one. Last Friday they took part
in the schools under 13 blitz. They won their semi final against St.
Joseph's of Tipperary. They lost out to New Inn in the final.Well done
to teacher Miss Coffey and helpers.
The Camogie club would like to send good wishes to Clionadh
Collins,Shania Dowling and Derbhaile Fitzgearld who represent

Under 14 Championship: Moyle Rovers lost out to a more physical
Clonmel Commercials in the 2nd round of the championship on Wednesday
last in Clonmel .The girls put in a huge effort on the night but
couldn't maintain the same level of performance over the hour whereas
Clonmel Commercials' greater power and size told in the end.

Under 16 - The Under 16 team drew with Cahir last week in an exciting
match where both sides had opportunities to seal victory.

Both the 14's and 16's are nearing the knock-out stages of their
respective championships and it is important that there is a full
attendance at training over the coming weeks.
