34 players, 1st on 10 games, divided, Geoff Croke and Peggy O’Connell, William Burke and Tom Acheson, David O’Donnell and Eddie Grant, Dick Lonergan and Frank Brown. Table Prize June Cooney and Michael Prendergast.
Game every Tuesday night at 8.30pm, all welcome.

QUIZ SUCCESS
Well done to the Moyle Rovers Table Quiz Team who tied for first place with St. Mary’s in the St. Patrick’s Well Society Table Quiz. Our winning team was Rose and Sean McKeown, Cairn and Antony Fitzgerald.

Good to see the High School have qualified for the last 16 in the Rice Cup.

HURLING LEAGUE OPENING GAME
We played first round of the hurling league on Sunday in Monroe against Moycarkey/Borris.  For a first game of the league is was a good performance, with the sides level for most of the first half, but a second goal for Moycarkey put them ahead at half time on a score of Moyle Rovers 1-7 Moycarkey 2-6. Moycarkey had a much stronger second half but our guys battled to the end. Final Score Moyle Rovers 1-12 Moycarkey 3-11.

SYMPATHY
Sincere sympathy is extended to Michael Mulvihill and family, Glenaleamy Drive, Clonmel, on the recent sad death of his mother Margaret. Interment took place in Enfield, County Meath, on Friday last. May she rest in peace.

LADIES FOOTBALL
The Under 16s had a very good win over Cahir in their final group game at Monroe last Sunday morning. We led by 3-6 to 0-4 at half time and by 6-10 to 4-11 in the end. Having topped our group we now await the semi final which will be a home venue.
Our seniors played their opening game of the league against Brian Borus in Clogheen last Sunday morning. This proved a difficult encounter for our girls and they were well beaten by the home opposition.
The Under 14s open their championship next Sunday against Cahir in Cahir at 4.00pm. All the best to the girls who have prepared very well.
Well done to Loreto Clonmel on winning the Munster Junior B Ladies Football final last Thursday in Bansha, beating St. Flannan’s of Ennis by  5-14 to 3-7.
Tipperary Intermediates host Longford next Sunday in Monroe. Moyle Rovers player Barbara Ryan is the Tipperary Captain and the Monroe fixture is recognition of the great honour bestowed on our club. We hope as many as possible will turn out to cheer on the Blue and Gold.

CAMOGIE
Our Under 12s travelled to New Inn on Saturday morning to take part in the blitz. The opposition for the day were the hosts New Inn and Brian Borus. First game for Moyle Rovers was against New Inn. The final score 2: 1 in favour of New Inn.
The second game against Brian Borus, was well contested also but  Borus were winners in the end by 3: 0.
Our team on the day with everyone getting a chance to show their skills was: Makayala O’Donnell, Megan Looby, Ava Collins, Orla Breen, Grace O’Dwyer, Eimear McKeown, Ella Ryan, Catriona Phelan, Alana Dowling, Tara McGrath, Sorcha O’Brien, Nicole Delaney, Duireann O’Sullivan, Grainne O’Donnell, Aoibhe Browne missing through illness were Triona Ryan, Rachel Cooke and Sarah O’Connor.
Training back on Tuesday and Friday nights, thanks to all the parents that attended great support for the players to cheer them on.
