one shower of rain throughout the game.  It was a tough game of
football with Cahir looking the much better side in the first 10
minutes, but once the  Moyle Rovers side settle into their stride,
they began to take a control of the game.  By half time the
Powerstown/Lisronagh side had developed a comfortable lead, and
continued this dominance in the second  half.

substitute David Mulcahy in defence and finished with Liam Carey in
the forward line who scored a great goal to put the sides level for
the first time.  Shane Foley quickly added another  point to put the
Moyle Rovers men ahead for the first time in the game. .   A high ball
in, allowed Peter Acheson to fist  the  ball over the Cahir Goalies
Aaron Wall head  and into the goal.    In the final minutes of the
half Moyle Rovers Thomas Hill & David McGrath scored a point each.  To
leave the half time score Moyle Rovers 2-5 Cahir 1-2.    Liam Boland

added a second point.  Then Thomas hill got through for what looked
like a third goal for Moyle Rovers but Aaron Wall denied with a
fantastic saved.  Cahir got their opening score of the half with a
goal which put Cahir back in with a fighting chance against this
powerstown/Lisronagh side.   Rovers David McGrath replied with two
point but  Michael Hickey added another point for Cahir.  This was to
be Cahir’s last score of the game.   Moyle Rovers score a further 1-2.
